The combination of aged European spruce, American maple, and Cuban mahogany must give it a rich, unique tone. I'd love to hear Ian and Tom play a few more tunes on it!

Nigel Woodhouse does a great job introducing the mandolin in this film. It's fascinating how composers have used it to add a unique, folk-inspired color to orchestral music over the centuries.

"Hiljaiset Soinnut" must be a beautiful piece, especially with the chord variations inspired by Petri Hakala and Timo Alakotila. I’m excited to check out your videos and dive into Nordic folk music on the mandolin.

Neil Young on the mandolin sounds awesome. I love the mix of easy chords and that harmonica melody.

I love the idea of introducing Nordic folk music through mandolin and guitar. Your choice of instruments and the Polska after Juringius must make for a captivating performance.
